| 29/06/2010 Following
on from Clive's post on the forum concerning the
restrictrd area in Portland Harbour, here is a

| 06/03/2010 With IOPCC group sizes
getting bigger and bigger, we now need to apply stricter
controls to the way that these groups are controlled. Take a
look at our
'Guidance Notes for Group Leadership'. |

|
| 06/03/2010 The 'Lulworth, West or
East' paddle scheduled for Sunday 21st March has been
postponed as the
Paddle
'n' Pick is happening on the previous day. |
|
| 12/02/2010 Our good friend Terry at
Secondwind Watersports has arranged a sponsored beach
cleaning event, in association with
Sports Relief, for kayakers on 20th March. We think that
this is a really good idea and something that we should
support and be a part of.

|
| 05/02/2010 I have added a new page
giving weather and tidal information for the next club
paddle. The page can be reached by clicking the
icon
next to the paddle details. |
|
| 03/02/2010 A map of common venues
and meeting places used by the club has been added to the
top of the
Activities Page. |
|
| 10/01/2010 The Galleries Page has been reconstructed
using Google's excellent
Picasa offering. This has served to
take the strain off our over stuffed web server and allowed
Google to take the strain! Take a look...I hope you like it.
If you have any pictures that you would like to see in the
Galleries please send them to the webmaster...details on the
Contact Us page. |

| 14/11/2009 Those who attended the most recent IOPCC
AGM on 13th November 2009 will have listened to a very
interesting talk by Emma Rance, a Marine Warden with
Dorset Wildlife Trust.
Emma mentioned an online group
that has been set up by
Dorset Wildlife Trust to promote marine conservation of
the underwater landscapes and inhabiting species that often
go unnoticed. You can join the group
here. |

The club
newsletter is published at the beginning of the month and is sent out

Press Clippings
IOPCC has been getting quite a bit of press coverage
recently. Take a look at the links below to see just how
famous we are becoming!
Barbara has somehow got the Dorset Echo fired up to give
us a regular feature in their 'Afloat' section.
Keep watching this page to see what they print...
