Paddle 'n' Pick 20th March 2010

Our good friend Terry at Secondwind Watersports has arranged a sponsored beach cleaning event, in association with Sports Relief, for kayakers on 20th March. We think that this is a really good idea and something that we should support and be a part of.

Details of the event are on the poster but are as follows:

Meet at Ringstead Beach for an 11am launch where you will be given a rubbish bag to fill.

Paddle towards Lulworth Cove stopping to collect any flotsam and jetsam that you see.

When you reach Lulworth, and assuming that by then you have a full bag of rubbish, you will be given a free portion of Fish 'n' Chips!

This is a sponsored event in aid of Sports Relief. As such you will need get yourself sponsored (minimum £10). A Sports Relief sponsorship form is available to download HERE>>

Terry needs to know numbers of paddlers who are intending to be a part of this event, so please post on the forum as soon as possible (certainly by 26th February)
